The International Trademark Association is a group consisting of Intellectual Property attorneys, agents, brand owners, judges, officials, international policy makers, and trademark service providers which hosts its annual meeting in different cities around the world.
This year, in Boston we were pleased to have brought some of our old friends and a few new ones "out to the ballgame" for an exclusive reception and we were also fortunate to have attended a number of other formal and informal events. While it all may look like fun, (and we assure you, it is), there we learn about and consider policy issues regarding new developments in the law and technology and where we make and reaffirm the relationships that drive our business.
I was truly humbled by the outpouring of invitations, gifts and awards bestowed on me. Even more so, I truly appreciated the opportunity to revisit with my old friends and colleagues and to make new connections.
